We enthusiastically support the community we love.

Montana Ale Works gives to the following local non-profits: GVLT, KGLT, Bridger Bowl, Museum of the Rockies, Heart of the Valley, Montana Outdoor Science School, Big Sky Youth Empowerment, Bozeman Film Festival and we are members of GVIBA and the Bozeman Chamber of Commerce.

For the second year, Montana Ale Works is proud to participate in the Montana Farm to Restaurant Campaign

Corporation for the Northern Rockies (CNR) and Gallatin Valley Independent Business Alliance (GVIBA) are working together to increase the visibility of sustainable local, sustainable small farms and ranches producers and the restaurants that carry and serve their products.

This campaign publicizes the story behind the people, products and services providing local food to the area. It links Montana products with Montana restaurants in the Gallatin Valley, Park County and Big Sky areas. Montana Farm to Restaurant Campaign works is a collaboration between 30 Montana restaurants and 23 Montana sustainable producers linking Montana products with Montana restaurants in the Gallatin Valley, Park County and Big Sky areas.

The campaign:

  • Promotes Gallatin Valley, Park County and Big Sky restaurants.
  • Promotes local, sustainable Montana producers.
  • Strengthens our local, sustainable agricultural communities.
  • Educates consumers and diners about locally grown food.
  • Encourages the consumption of nutritious and healthy foods.
  • Friends of the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center (and the annual POWDERBLAST at the Emerson Arts and Cultural Center!), the Alex Lowe Charitable Foundation.
  • Supports the economic multiplier effect.*

* The economic "multiplier effect" (the number of times a single dollar is circulated in a community) is higher for family farms than other business sectors.  Consumers can increase it by supporting our producers while they support our communities.

Montana Ale Works proudly supports the following sustainable, local producers throughout the year when in season:

  • Amaltheia Dairy of Belgrade, MT
  • Gallatin Valley Botanical of Belgrade, MT
  • B-Bar Ranch of Emigrant, MT

Featured Menu Items:

  • Gallatin Valley Salad: Our chef's choice of the freshest locally-grown salad greens, herbs, beets, carrots, parsnips, tomatoes, onions and more! Whatever's coming out of the ground each week gets a shot at stardom as a featured Gallatin Valley Salad item...
  • B-Bar Beef Patties: All natural, grass-fed White Park Beef burgers, from cattle sustainably raised on the outskirts of Yellowstone Park
  • Pedro's Pasta: a signature pasta finished with Amaltheia goat cheese, basil, pine nuts and tomatoes
